Christopher Brasington grew up in Sevierville, Tennessee at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After graduating high school from SCHS (Sevier County High School) in 2006, Chris went on to peruse a Bachelors in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN outside Nashville graduating in 2010. After a few years in Charleston, South Carolina, he moved to Denver, Colorado to be at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Codie Thomas (Codie Brasington) grew up in the Denver, Colorado area graduating with a Bachelors in English from UNC, the University of Northern Colorado
Chris and Codie met soon after Chris moved to Colorado in 2014 and they have been married since 2016. In 2026, they celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary. This site is love letter to Codie, their camping adventures and home life in Colorado and a way to connect to them.
