August was a bit too hot to visit a the grasslands with little shade, but in a year of covid-pandemic quarantine it was out of the house and away from people. The grasslands area birdwatchers paradise. We mostly drove around since it was hot. We drove to see the Buttes, windmills, and the Colorado/Wyoming/Nebraska intersection marker. Lots of cows. Lots of windmills at the border.
